Josipa, I love you

Josipa struggles with the consequences of sexual abuse that she suffered from the age of 4 to 12. Senad starts filming a movie about her. Joining Josipa's life he is no longer an objective filmmaker, but also becomes the protagonist of the film. Senad's life is also dramatically changing. The film is transformed into a personal, intimate, frantic and brutally honest story of the extremely unusual relationship of two people. Throughout the entire film, we look at the face of a young girl who, with almost unstoppable rhythm, leaps from pain, sorrow, anger and panic fear of leaving, to black humor, childish joy, and intellectual diagnosis of her own abnormality. The other protagonist (whom we do not see but we hear him) is trying to fix what some other people have broken up for a long time ago… we also see his struggle with his own decisions. The tale is full of twists and turns, yet so warm, human and simple, shot and edited as weird as its characters. Whatever you think about Senad and Josipa's moves and attitudes, where there is so much unconditional love and sincerity, we can only love the characters... at least we as filmmakers believe so.
