Anja Koprivšek
Anja Koprivšek was born in Novi Sad. She graduated from the Department of Documentary Directing at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb and completed her undergraduate studies in International Relations at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade. For her first film 'Between Summers' (2021), she received the 'Jelena Rajković' award for the best director under 30 at the Croatian Film Days (2022) and the 'In the Abandoned Cinema' award for best directing at the Bistra Reka Festival (2022). Among others, 'Between Summers' was shown at Doclisboa, ZagrebDox, Pula Film Festival, and STIFF. She is one of the directors of the documentary omnibus 'Eight Chapters' (2023), which premiered at ZagrebDox last year. From 2022 to 2024, Anja worked as an assistant coordinator for the international training initiative for women directors and producers 'CIRCLE Women Doc Accelerator.'
