Marko Grba Singh was born in 1988 in Belgrade. Currently attending a PhD course in Film Directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. His short documentary films "Kasno smo se sreli" and "Bledo" had their world premiere at the Visions du Reel festival in Nyon, Switzerland. His medium-length film "Abdul & Hamza", focusing on the destiny of refugees in Europe, premiered at the FID Marseille Festival in 2015 and won a jury special mention. In early April 2016, he travelled to China on the project Looking China and made the short documentary film "Zvezde Gaomeigua", which earned him the most innovative short film award at Visions du Reel in Nyon in 2017. He is the artistic director of Beldocs film festival and one of the programmers of Pančevo Film Festival. He lives and works in Belgrade.
