Jakov Labrović
Jakov Labrović (1983.) has a master's degree in Sculpture Arts and he is artistic leader of performing arts collective ROOM 100 which is producing and distributing „risky“ contemporary circus performances that combines circus skills with sculpture arts, electronic music, break and butoh dance.
He is artistic director and performer of „C8H11NO2“performance who has been awarded as „Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe 2010“ laureate (highest score by jury members in project's history) and performed at various festivals in USA, France, Belgium, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Lithuania, Croatia... He has also directed and performed a solo piece „split“ that has been awarded as one of the 6 performance-finalists of contemporary art award „Arte Laguna Prize“ in Venice in 2013 and finalist of contemporary art award „Asthetica Art Award“ in England in 2014.
Short documentary „BLINK“ is Jakov's first film creation.
