Noćna... smjena, priča, ulica. Eksperimentalno dokumentarni kratki film o zagrebačkim peračima ulica u formi gustog foto eseja (887 fotografija) kojem je tehnikom stop animacije dan vremenski slijed. Zagrebački „mlazničari“ prikazani su u dva karakteristična prostora: glasno praznom gradu, te tiho punim prostorima poduzeća Čistoća („punionica“, garderobe...). Repetitivni, visoko estetizirani kadrovi pranja kroz kontrast s neočekivanim, nimalo utišanim, „zatamnjenim“ tonom, donose, vrlo bliske i svakodnevne, karaktere perača. Kraj je ništa drugo do namjerna greška proizašla iz dojma da posao perača niti ne može biti završen, samo prekinut do sljedeće noći.

Snyopsis:

Night... shift, story, street. This is a short, experimental documentary about street cleaners in Zagreb in form of a densely packed photo essay (consisting of 887 photos) that adopts stop-motion animation for creating a timeline. The high-pressure street cleaners are presented in their two typical sceneries: in the city that is loud but empty, and in the spaces of the company's premises that are full but silent, like the filling department or the cloakroom. The repetitive, highly aestheticized frames depicting pressure-washing, in contrast with the unexpected, unsilenced, dark tone, introduce the long-familiar, everyday traits of the street cleaners. The ending is nothing but a mere intentional oversight based on the impression that the work of a street cleaner is never finished, but only put on hold until the following night.

O redatelju:

Lucija Bušić rođena je u Zagrebu 1985. godine te mu se i dalje, sa svakog putovanja, vraća. Diplomirala je na Ekonomskom fakultetu u Zagrebu, a krajem iste godine se zapošljava kao fotograf na tportal-u gdje i danas radi. Sklona je koristiti digitalno - analognu granicu za razlučivanje profesionalnog od osobnog rada pri čemu prvi omogućuje sredstva za drugi.

About the director:

Lucija Bušić was born in 1985 in Zagreb, the city she returns to after each and every journey, time and again. At the age of 24 she graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb and shortly after started working as a photographer for tportal, where she has been employed ever since. By drawing a line between the digital and the analogue, Lucija prefers separating her professional from her private work, whereby the former makes room for the latter.
