This observational documentary film shows a large number of Istrian residents connected to the promenade of Franz Josef I, its buildings, beaches and the sea. We follow the lives of individual people and their direct interactions with other people through the changes of the seasons, thus showing how these same changes also affect the promenade itself during the tourist season and after it. The promenade is made up of unusual events and manifestations, as well as various gatherings on a twelve-kilometer route along the sea.
