Workshops and Masterclass

Liburnia Film Festival continues with its dedication to educational programs adapted to all film lovers’ categories in 2013 - to those who know nothing about films (“My First Filmmaking” workshop for ages 16 to 18 held by Filmaktiv), to those who already know a great deal but wish to improve (Author’s Analysis of films in the 11th LFF
competition by Nebojša Slijepčević from Restart) and to those uncertain of their own category, but have been swept away by the movie “Lepa Diana” (Master Class by the famous Serbian director Boris Mitić called “A Complete Insight into Contemporary Documentary in Five Sketches”).

One of the most original contemporary Serbian filmmakers Boris Mitić will hold a lecture on the 11th LFF called “A Complete Insight into Contemporary Documentary
in Five Sketches”, free of charge and open to all taking place in “Burin” caffe in Ičići, Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 5 P.M.

You consider yourself young, and the camera is a natural extension of your hand? Or, perhaps, you never recorded anything but “have a thing” for making films? In both cases, LFF and Filmaktiv will educate you on documentary filmmaking, free of charge, from August 28 till August 31, 2013.

Nebojša Slijepčević, director, Vanja Jambrović, producer, and Oliver Sertić, selector of LFF, all of them from Restart Association - co-organizer of the Festival will, during the consultations with young authors about their movies, try to point eventual oversights, and within a group discussion come to creative solutions for their future movies. They will also demystify the process of festival selection and awarding.
